Private parties, events and family get togethers

Statham Lodge Hotel’s private dining rooms and impressive banqueting suites are available to hire all year round. With no near neighbours, a private bar, dance floor and a state of the art sound system, our largest suite can seat up to 150 people for dinner or 250 people for a dinner dance. Our second largest banqueting suite is suitable for parties of up to 50 guests. For a more private dining experience our garden room and upstairs dining rooms suit parties of up to 24 guests. Whether it’s a special birthday, anniversary, christening, charity event or school prom, our events team would be happy to discuss your special event in detail and provide you with dining menu options and a personalised quotation.

Northern Guild of Toastmasters Annual Dinner

I attend the annual Toastmasters dinner each Christmas time at Statham Lodge and it is always extremely well organised. It has become a firm favourite with the Northern Guild of Toastmasters. The team always look after their guests so well and the menu and silver service they offer in my opinion is the best around. For these reasons, as well as it being so picturesque with great facilities, I chose Statham Lodge for my own wedding day.

80th Birthday Luncheon

A big thank you to all the staff at Statham Lodge Hotel for making Fred Green’s 80th Birthday luncheon a happy and enjoyable one. 50th Wedding Anniversary

To everyone at Statham Lodge. Elsa and Frank had their 50th wedding anniversary celebration at Statham Lodge. They would like to thank everyone who made their day so lovely, so enjoyable and so friendly. Everybody played their part. Andy looked after us exceptionally well, as did those who served us at reception and at the table, those who served us drinks of all kinds, those who worked in the kitchen and others too, who in their different ways played their part in nothing was too much trouble. We were particularly touched by the availability of coffee and croissants in the bar even after breakfast was finished.

Family Get Togethers

We have been here for large family meals for special birthdays and every time the food and staff are wonderful! Very attentive and friendly, the hotel is beautiful and spotless. We love it here so much, we have booked to have our wedding here next September 2016.

Golden Wedding Anniversary

My wife and I celebrated our Golden Wedding Anniversary at Statham Lodge on Sunday 19th April and we are happy to tell you, it was a great experience. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff for making our day so wonderful for us. They could not have been more kind, more helpful, especially Chris, the Events Manager, who gave us every assistance both with the pre-planning and on the day. A special thank you to the receptionist who took care of the flowers, cake, cards, menus, seating plan etc on Saturday evening when we arrived to check in to our very nice ground floor room. The Shelley Room where we had our celebration was beautifully set out and welcoming. The meal was excellent and the quality and wide choice of menu available impressed everyone. Please pass on our thanks to the waiters and waitresses who served us our lunch so seamlessly. The whole afternoon was so impressive, that some of our guests asked us “How did you find this place?” Thank you again to all involved at Statham Lodge for an outstanding day! We will have no hesitation in recommending you.

Christmas Lunch

I would like to thank you and the staff at Statham Lodge, for once again making the Christmas Lunch so enjoyable. The food and service were excellent and people really do appreciate being able to choose their menu on the day. As always, the hotel was beautifully decorated and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Chris and his team in the dining room were both friendly and efficient. Indeed all the staff that I dealt with ensured that the arrangements ran smoothly. It goes without saying, that when we paid the bill at the end of the event, we made our booking for next year.
